Default 2004 Kaw Prairie

New to the site. I have a Law Prairie V Twin 700 4x4. Would not hardly want to move. pulled the clutch cover off and the whole inside is covered with oil(smells like gear oil maybe) caked everywhere. the whole inside just has oil spattered everywhere. cleaned it all of put it back together and it ran just fine. no slipping. My questions is where could the oil be coming from? the feel on the shaft on the left seems to be ok and not leaking there. getting a clutch puller and pulling the clutch off so i can check behind it but just seeing if anyone knows where the oil might be coming from. thanks in advance.
