That reminds me... I need to go pick up that stock pipe from Rich. After St Anthony's it's going on...Time to quiet the machine back down.

I'm ordering a sound meter for the Auxiliary. The quiet pipe is going on before you ride in Burnett County again.

Here is the map with the camp space assignments. Hopefully these arrangements work for everyone.

All of you Dry Campers will need to just round up the wagons when you get there.

Dry campers: whoever gets there first stake out a claim for all of us! I'll bring an 80 foot heavy duty extension cord so we can run it around the units to charge batteries from my generator.

Note to self: bring the 80 foot extension cord!

The Dry Camp Area is HUGE. It is twice the size of the Hookup camp area. You will want to set up camp as close to the Office/Store as you can.

Does it have sites or is it just a big open area?

Just a BIG open area. Kind of dry grass (At least it was last time). It should work out good for a nice camp setup.

The whole campground and dune access road is Big Time Dusty, soo be ready for that. However, the sand is Not dusty and is more like Beach sand than it is Desert Sand.

RPM... What is the scoop for camp fires? I know during the dry season there are some camp fire restrictions.

Sailorgriz, we need to get people together to circle the campers...get a nice big circle with a community hang out in the center.

BTW Roger... I'll be hosting a cookout night again. I'll give you a call when the time gets close to see what all we need to put it on again.

http://www.desertoasisrvpark.com/ Clicky here. Go to this site and click on RULES at the bottom of the page. I think all you can use for fires is the burn barrels they suppy to burn wood in. I don't think they allow OPEN FIRES.
